America Must Support Israel—But Must Put America First
Conservatives ought to decide to stray from hawkish doctrine and opt for military restraint.

Recent actions in the Middle East have changed the scope of the political debate in America, in a way that puts MAGA into jeopardy and empowers the neoconservatives who have undermined Donald Trump from the start.
The despicable Hamas terror attacks against Israel have galvanized the world behind the Jewish nation, and rightfully so. Without a shadow of a doubt, Israel has the right to defend itself against radical Muslim groups like Hamas and their allies such as Iran and Hezbollah with as much deadly force as they see fit. A robust debate over whether America should support Israel with additional military aid is one that ought to be considered by Congress. This is not a situation like Ukraine where such expenditures would be little more than a money dump into the hands of corrupt interests.
But one thing that should never be considered is whether more American blood should be spilled in the Middle East to defend Israel’s sovereignty.
The usual suspects, the neocon warmongers who hated President Trump before he was elected and then subverted his agenda once he was in the White House, are exploiting the dire situation to bang the drums of war once again. Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire and Fox News personality Mark Levin are salivating at the thought of war against Iran, a notion which they have been promoting for over a decade. Any military conflict with Iran, which includes American troops, would be at least as disastrous as the mishaps that have occurred in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya in recent years.
Many conservatives have apparently developed a case of amnesia when it comes to foreign policy. They have re-adopted the familiar Sept. 11 mindset, believing that the American military might bomb its way to achieving its goals in the Middle East. The repeatedly failed military efforts have taught them nothing. This is the type of Hubris that tends to develop within late-stage empires before they collapse into oblivion. But Trump supporters should be wise not to fall into this trap and risk squandering the monumental political shift caused by the rise of MAGA.
The neocons hope to use the Israel/Palestine conflict to shift away from America First and back to the globalist intervention-oriented Republican Party that was prevalent during the George W. Bush era. Remember, this was the Republican Party that surrendered widespread popularity and handed the country over to radical ideologue Barack H. Obama, paving the way to ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter terrorists running the streets.
We must remember that every conflict should be viewed through the lens of what is best for America, first and foremost. This does not mean we shirk our responsibility to stand with the oppressed, particularly Christians and Jewish individuals, and aim to prevent history’s worst atrocities from recurring. But we must realize that much of what America does abroad only exacerbates tragedies and makes turmoil drastically worse. America deposed the secular tyrant Saddam Hussein and what replaced him was a far radically Islamic extremist government. America occupied Afghanistan for decades, and the Taliban only grew in strength as a result. Libya disintegrated after Muammar Gaddafi was overthrown, and Europe has to deal with a Muslim invasion that poses an existential threat to Western Civilization in the aftermath.
Who is to say that our intervention in favor of Israel, no matter how well-intentioned it may be, does not come with the same catastrophic unintended consequences as our recent military adventures?
After all, our military is no longer the military of the greatest generation that fought and saved the world from fascism in World War 3. The military even pales in comparison to the force that achieved a grueling stalemate against the Vietcong decades later. America’s military is centered around woke objectives, where recruits are overwhelmingly obese, where critical race theory is treated as dogma at every military institution. We have been weakened immeasurably from within. Perhaps conservatives should be focused on rooting out the cancer from these institutions before attempting to solve messy and complicated conflicts that could backfire in unforeseen ways.
The Biden administration gave billions to Iran despite legitimate fears that the money could go toward funding terror groups, and then the U.S. intelligence community failed to stop the highly coordinated and well planned Hamas attacks. As individuals like terror-sympathizing Palestinian “liberation” activist Maher Bitar rise to prominent positions within Biden’s National Security Council, stopping dangerous Jihadis is deprioritized in the intelligence community. The Biden administration with apparatchiks like Bitar in positions of authority is clearly more focused on profiling Trump supporters as terror threats than to protect our allies. Regardless, this is not a military apparatus that can be expected to act competently to protect American or Jewish interests in the Middle East.
Even more concerning is the likelihood that the Biden Administration has been infiltrated with pro-Iranian radicals. As Darren Beattie recently reported in Revolver.News:
"If the name Robert Malley isn’t familiar to you, it should be. Malley was a key player in Obama’s national security team, and specifically a key player in negotiating the JCPOA, informally known as the 'Iran Deal.' While serving in the Clinton Administration, Malley wrote an article for the Washington Post encouraging Israeli 'accommodation' of Hamas. In 2021, President Biden appointed Malley as a special envoy for Iran, in charge of reinstating the Iran Deal, which Trump terminated early in his term. Malley held his position until the FBI curiously removed his security clearance for allegedly 'mishandling' classified material. Malley was a deep fixture within the Obama Biden establishment. Given Biden’s lax standards for prosecuting any crimes of his allies, one can only imagine what the real story is with Malley and what kind of egregious violations he needed to perpetrate to have his clearance removed. In truth, all evidence points to Malley being at the center of what could only be described as a 'spy ring' or Iranian influence ring deep within the government."
As Lee Smith wrote at Tablet Magazine:
"The Biden administration’s now-suspended Iran envoy Robert Malley helped to fund, support, and direct an Iranian intelligence operation designed to influence the United States and allied governments, according to a trove of purloined Iranian government emails. The emails, which were reported on by veteran Wall Street Journal correspondent Jay Solomon, writing in Semafor, and by Iran International, the London-based émigré opposition outlet which is the most widely read independent news source inside Iran, were published last week after being extensively verified over a period of several months by the two outlets. They showed that Malley had helped to infiltrate an Iranian agent of influence named Ariane Tabatabai into some of the most sensitive positions in the U.S. government—first at the State Department and now the Pentagon, where she has been serving as chief of staff for the assistant secretary of defense for special operations, Christopher Maier."
Perhaps this is why the Biden Administration is pursuing a foolhardy strategy of unfreezing $6 billion in assets for the Iranian regime, and now wants to give $100 million to Hamas for "humanitarian aid" in Gaza.
Believing that the maniacal Iranian regime can be mollified with money, or believing their claims that billions made available to them will not be used to further develop nuclear weapons, is essentially the continuation of the Obama policies and extraordinarily naive.
Now, making things worse, there are indications that the Biden Administration insists that there is no proof of Iranian involvement in the Hamas attacks in Gaza and seeks to restrict Israel's own defense of their country by specifying what weapons and targets can be utilized. Strangely, the Biden Administration puts no such restraint on the Ukrainians—to whom we have handed over $200 billion.
Considering the dismal situation, any expansion of the military in the Middle East to protect Israel must be looked at with extreme caution. Israel has wise national leaders, a united people, and sophisticated military capacity at their disposal. In many ways, they operate in a superior fashion to our divided country that is lorded over by a federal swamp that rarely if ever acts in the best interest of its people. Israel can handle its own defense without being unduly burdened by our problems that would inevitably make the situation worse. Conservatives ought to decide to stray from hawkish doctrine and opt for military restraint no matter how counterintuitive that may seem.

Israel just injected their entire population with a poison-death vaccine. First degree genocide.
I will never give you money again and I will remove myself from your sub stack. You want us to believe that massage with some of the most sophisticated intelligence working with the CIA was unable to track all the weapons going to South America from Ukraine and being sold to Hamas. You're trying to make us believe that for 6 hours Israel did nothing but stand down in order for this crisis to explode and give netanyahu the time to prevent the civil war that had their country divided as well as the power grab to destroy their constitution. You want to fear monger us into believe that if we let Palestinian refugees into this country we will allow terrorism. Hamas is already in the country and you're willing to stand by Israel to genocide the Palestinians of women and children. Our borders need to be taken care of first and you want to stand by and say send money to Israel. What have they been doing with the billions of dollars that we have been sending them for decades? Disgusting, all of you disgusting to continually support a nation that has done nothing for us. And don't forget netanyahu was out in front of the world telling them that America needed to remove Saddam Hussein because of all his weapons of mass destruction. And after that we still kept giving them money. How is that worked out for you?
