CIA-Backed Trouble in Syria Could Lead to MASS SLAUGHTER of Christians... Again
Jihadi Rebels gain ground in Syria as Middle East disaster worsens for Trump’s second term.
A familiar story is emerging in Syria: Rebels are rising to challenge the regime of President Bashar al-Assad, rapidly seizing much of Aleppo in an unexpected power grab that has left the Syrian regime on its heels.
This is similar to what happened in the late 2010s, when Turkish-backed Islamic terrorists laid siege to Syria and took over many cities. The so-called Free Syrian Army went to war with the Assad regime and aligned Kurdish forces.
The Obama administration had funded a $1 billion dollar clandestine war conducted by the CIA in Syria with the explicit goal of regime change. Weapons funneled into the region by the U.S. government ended up in the hands of ISIS and Al Qaeda-aligned forces while the foreign policy establishment cheered loudly. When President Trump came into power, he ended the program immediately, and uncoincidentally ISIS largely disappeared as a major regional terror force thereafter.
The same players that were empowered by Obama’s pro-terror plotting are back with vengeance just in time for Trump’s next presidency. Recent successful attacks in Syria have been led by an Islamist terror front Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), which has rebranded from its former name, Jabhat al-Nusra. Al-Nusra was founded as a direct affiliate of al-Qaeda and were a recipient of arms from Obama’s CIA war on Syria.
It is not a stretch to say that Westerners cheering on the rebels are, whether wittingly or unwittingly, rooting for Al Qaeda – the alleged masterminds of the 9/11 terror attacks – to take more power in the Middle East. The Syrian rebels are backed by Turkey whose ruler Recep Erdogan has openly trumpeted the Muslim conquest of Europe. As the radical Muslims are empowered in Syria, more migrants will inevitably be piling across the porous borders of globalized Europe to further rape and pillage those lands.
Why would any person in the West sympathize with these Jihadis? The answer is Putin Derangement Syndrome. Because the Assad regime is closely aligned with Russian President Vladimir Putin, many in the foreign policy establishment want Assad to be deposed even if it empowers terrorists at war with the West. They have grown to hate Putin so much, due to non-existent U.S. election meddling in 2016 and other perceived offenses, that they are willing to commit civilizational genocide if they believe it hurts Putin.
Assad’s record is far from unblemished. By the standards of western democracy, his leadership is abhorrent. But replacing him with armed, anti-Western jihadists is not the answer. Assad’s loss would certainly be a blow to Russia and Iran, but it would come at the cost of empowering anti-American Jihadis. This tradeoff is not worth it. Eliminating Assad might be the worst blunder of foreign interventionism thus far. To be clear, the U.S. has claimed no responsibility in propping up this round of Syrian rebel activity, but the truth of their involvement will only be clear in the months and years to come.
It is easy for outsiders in the West to look at a leader like Assad, call him a despot and believe the world would be better without him in power. They may be correct on some level. That same judgment was certainly made about Saddam Hussein of Iraq and Muammar Gaddafi of Libya. Those men were deposed because of U.S. and NATO action, and the results have been disastrous for the region and the world. Millions of people have died with no progress to show for it except boosted profit margins and increased stock prices of defense contractors.
If Assad is deposed in Syria, the result will be the extreme repression of Christians in the region. Assad, like his fellow Ba’athist Saddam, is a secular leader who protects the rights of Christians in his country. Assad keeps Muslim radicals from violating the rights of Christians in Syria and uses his iron-fisted rule to keep the peace between various sectarian groups. The Turkish-backed animals, renowned for their beheadings, sexual violence, torture, arbitrary imprisonment, and defilement of religious sites, will not be so friendly to Christian minorities.
Because of the U.S. proxy war in Ukraine against Russia, Putin may not be able to help Assad eliminate the foreign-backed terror groups as effectively as he did in 2016-17. This threatens to send the entire region into peril. Perhaps this disastrous situation can be seen as a welcoming present to President Trump for having the audacity to challenge the corrupt status quo and achieve victory. The globalists are pulling out all the stops to ensure that President Trump will inherit the worst possible situation in the Middle East when he steps back into the Oval Office. If anyone is up for the challenge, it will be Trump who will have to nimbly navigate from the brink of World War 3 starting on his first day in office.
Doesn't everybody know by now that 9/11 was an inside job and that ISIS/Al-Qaeda were/are US/NATO mercenaries created with the purpose of generating budgets/business for the intel community and the arms manufacturers?! Assad is actually quite popular with his own people (which should be all that matters), which suggests to me that - as with ISIS/Al-Qaeda - everything we are told about Assad and Syria is propaganda, lies and nonsense.
Why has CIA and DHS and many agencies can get billions of dollars so easily to fund their illegal and treasonous operations? Isn’t it true the budgets must be first authorized by the Congress? So the funding legislation MUST BE scrutinized so that checks and balances can be put in place.
