This step-by-step technical guide will (hopefully) help anybody currently trying to get their account back by carefully following procedures laid out below, under Elon Musk's Twitter amnesty.
Awesome, Musk's Twitter is proving to be one of the best political victories we have scored in the year 2022! Should have been a lot more - like massive defeats to the lockdowners in the elections - but am grateful for this one because it was not even a possibility on the horizon only 9 months ago.
I have asked three times, now four, to have my account at Twitter reinstated. I made a rude comment (called Kathy Griffin a "skank") and said how she called for the murder of President Trump, after she held a bloody effigy head depicting Trump. I just retweeted what another commented and 'BOOM' I was permanently-banned. I have now requested to be reinstated under Musk's amnesty plan. We will see what happens.
Funny about Kathy Griffin. I called her the same thing, and I don't ordinarily talk about women that way. But that was a skanky thing to do, regardless of your political persuasion. I'm not a conservative by any means, but a bloody head? Come on.
I have appealed several times and finally got a response that I was permanently banned for "hateful conduct".
I called Mi6 controlled Louise Mensch a crazed wench. I chose it because it rhymes. She refers to herself as a unhinged witch. She is a public official. I will continue to fight to bring down.

All the political infighting is a distraction, for me, and I will continue to ignore it.
I mean what is the point of the daily left v right battle to raise and spend 2 billion dollars to change a handful of Congressional Representatives and US Senators.
Did they say you violated the rule for “hateful conduct.” That rule violation is proving difficult to overcome and get reversed. I have found so personally.
I was banned for calling Ann Coulter a "skank" in a tweet defending Trump and his stolen election. You can't sign into all banned accounts. Some just say 'account does not exist.' That's why anons are crucial to survival of civilization.
Dear Roger, I just followed your instructions tonight. Today is 9 January, 2023, and I hope and pray my account will be restored. My account was suspended in December 19, 2020 when I was sharing info with many D.C. leaders requesting them to do the right thing and stop the 2020 election fraud. Next thing I know, I was suspended with no rhyme or reason. Filed many appeals with no response. Was refused an appeal before Elon started reinstating accounts. Have sent many appeals since then when my friend told me she got her account back and she encouraged me to try again. and have been checking my email each time, but nothing yet. This time I hope it works.
That is what they said and all I did was call Kathy Griffin a "skank" for what she did and said about President Trump. I never threatened anyone with harm or was hateful. She was the one who was hateful and she did not get removed or banned for life.
Like Roger, I was also suspended in October 2017 (I joined in July 2008). I was never told what specific tweets of mine were violative. In the days after the suspension, Twitter offered a number different reasons for my suspension before finally settling on "hateful conduct." I think it was because I called Ann Coulter a "c**t". I followed Roger's instructions and it took Twitter less than 30mins to complete their "review" and tell me that my account would NOT be reinstated.
No it didn't work for me. Twitter stopped responding to my appeals in August of this year. First it was “Platform Manipulation”, then it was “Coordinated Harmful Activity”. Twitter was making this up to justify blatantly suspending accounts for absolutely no reason other than they were conservative users.
Yes! They have changed their excuses with me as well. From the generic "hateful blah blah blah" to attempting to evade a ban (it was my first and only account) to multiple accounts for abusive blah blah blah.
The truth is they can say what ever they want and you have no recourse. It's not an "appeal" process at all.
This is still happening under Elon Musk. If these are human moderators making these decisions, they should be asked to justify them, but I think in my case it's been programmed to kick out an auto response.
I sent the appeal in last Friday, and got back on Wednesday.
My gut is that my account, being considered especially high profile, was reinstated through a different channel than everyone else. The Twitter files yesterday show that accounts flagged as high profile go through a different support channel.
I predict that Elon is going to bring back everyone else within a short period, and that they are simply figuring out how to do it now.
Roger, people who were accused of breaking the rule for hateful conduct are having a difficult time getting reinstated. I made a comment about Ukraine and Russophobia and got banned in July after having my account for almost 10 years. I have appealed numerous times because I think they took my comment out of context, and have been denied, the latest after I followed your instructions exactly.

Let's face it. If you don't bring any revenue to Twitter, you are SOL.
It isn't a victory until all of 1 million (plus) Trump supporters get reinstated on Twitter.
I've asked weekly for the past 6 months. > 20 times.
They wont reinstate my account, when they dare to respond to my appeals.
I have not used cussing or any foul langage, just posted truthful things i've had research priorly.
Well, I've cussed and used foul language because it IS warranted.
Many thanks for your reply Roger. I had a profile, if not especially high (some 55K followers) at the time of my suspension for simply tweeting more factual information about covid-19 vaccination clinical trials (I am a retired academic physician clinical trialist, & epidemiologist) https://www.theepochtimes.com/twitter-threatened-with-class-action-lawsuit-for-banning-doctor-over-covid-19-vaccine-post_4650006.html
No, it didn't work for me. Twitter has been particularly vindictive to women who refuse to acknowledge males as women.
I believe some of the moderators are still trans activists.
I get a computer generated response saying I will not be restored because I managed multiple accounts. I didn't. It was all about ____phobia.
Twitter has also been particularly vindictive to conservative patriots.

I have asked politely several times, but to no avail. I am a "white advocate," so may be beyond the pale even under the new dispensation.

Nope. Farce. Didn’t work.
Did that and still waiting. Uggg

I no longer get the auto response that requests I reply to the email to verify my email.
Dear Mr. Stone,
Curious how long you had to wait. A colleague appealed > a week ago & still has not heard back
