Ranked Choice Voting Elected Hitler, so says the NYT's "fake" conservative David Brooks:
"The proportional multiparty system allowed an extremist named Adolf Hitler to rise to power with the initial support of a tiny fraction of Germany’s voters."
Why should the voters want to choose who should be in second place? I know that's not a completely accurate view of the situation, but people are supposed to vote for only one candidate for a specific elected position,. It's not a dumb multiple-choice question from high school. You have one office, and you get one vote for filling that office. How difficult is that?
People want to see the stone man dance

Allende was elected with a small purality; rcv allows candidates who have a small purality to win. Rcv is a ticket to mayhem.
