Upon meeting and befriending author Tom Wolfe, whom I meet in the late 1960s and early '70s through Ken Kesey, the subject of Mr. Wolfe's "The Electric Cool-Aid Test," I adopted for a time the Caribbean 100% all cotton and linen white suits.
