Roger Stone Reviews Whiplash!

Even some pinko-lefties might get something out of this one because they would better understand the libertarian component of American conservatism.

Roger Stone reviews Whiplash! From JFK to Donald Trump, A Political Odyssey by Arnold L. Steinberg by Arnold L. Steinberg

**This is a special discount for Stone Cold Truth Readers**

My detractors likely will boycott any book I endorse. That’s probably because mostly the books I push are my own. Not really. Every so often, I insist you buy someone else’s book, like this one: Whiplash! From JFK to Donald Trump, a Political Odyssey by Arnold L. Steinberg.

First, check out the title. I can’t say that I knew JFK. But I do know Donald Trump and Arnie Steinberg and this book got it right.

JFK would be persona non grata in today’s Democrat Party. At home JFK favored tax cuts to stimulate the economy; abroad he favored a strong national defense against communism. Trump is a tax cutter who, like JFK, wants to “get America moving again.” And Trump backs the military to kick ass against radical Islamists. Unlike Democrats today, JFK was a true pro-American patriot who believed in this country. So does Donald Trump, but Trump is not an indiscriminate nation builder. That’s where the Bushies and their fellow travelers went wrong.

I’m from New York and was a volunteer in the 1970 campaign to elect Jim Buckley U.S. Senator, and I recall with glee Jim Buckley’s victory, in large part the handiwork of Arnie Steinberg, with whom I would work a couple of years later when I was at the Committee to Re-elect the President (Richard Nixon), and Arnie, three years older than I (but still very young) was helping run Sen. Buckley’s office on Capitol Hill.

Arnie was close to the Buckleys, notably the godfather of the conservative movement, Wm. F. Buckley, Jr., and Bill Buckley had written a book back in 1954 contending that the critics of Sen. Joe McCarthy were more guilty of excess than McCarthy; Bill Buckley, starting with that research, formed a life-long friendship with McCarthy’s aide Roy Cohn, who I got to know quite well. Much maligned, to be sure, of Roy’s name in certain precincts in Manhattan, gets teeth gnashing and spit flying.

Roy introduced me to Donald Trump, who adopted Roy’s “never settle, countersue” approach. I mention all this because of Bill Buckley’s National Review, which tried to crush Trump during the primaries, is a shadow of its influence during Buckley’s heyday. And I agree with Arnie’s conclusion in the book, that in the general election, Bill Buckley would have backed Trump. And it may even be that NR’s political savvy publisher, and Bill Rusher a political conservative with a populist, streak despite his own background would have backed Trump even during the primaries.

Pre-Buckley, Arnie had been immersed in the tumultuous fighting against the leftist thugs on campus. In this new book, he compares the leftist devotees of Herbert Marcuse in the 1960s with the politically correct malcontents of today. But there’s more in this very unusual book, with a novel style, equally political…(a) autobiography and history, (b) philosophy and ideas, and (c) insights and a campaign manual.

Though Arnie is known as a master political strategist, often behind the scenes, he never sold out to the Republican Establishment. I still must atone for my years as a Washington lobbyist. So it’s fitting that I write this review on Yom Kippur.

I now know the enemy. But Arnie was always skeptical of, even hostile to, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Manufacturers, the Tobacco Institute, and the crony capitalists. His suspicion of Wall Street started when the financial establishment opposed Jim Buckley’s election in 1970, and then, according to Arnie, after Jim Buckley’s victory, the Wall Street whores sent campaign checks pre-dated before the election.

This book has lots of new information you won’t read elsewhere, certainly not in the mainstream media. And whether you’ve been around for a long time, or you’re new to politics, or you just want a book for your grandchild in college, this interesting read explains, in an anecdotal way, how the conservative movement developed, and all its factions.

Read this, and you’ll understand how conservatives – not liberals — were behind ending the draft in this country, and how they continue to lead the movement for criminal justice reform. Yes, conservatives – including the late Bill Buckley – wanted to end the ridiculous War on Drugs and decriminalize marijuana. And the true conservatives are more into Main Street than Wall Street.

Read this book. Don’t watch Don Lemon and his CNN colleagues. They are CLUELESS about what “Left” and “Right” are. And when they keep calling people who believe in liberty “fascists,” you know they are screwed up. And they sure got it wrong about Trump.

Arnie was one of the first to see that Trump could win the Republican nomination, partly because he knew the sycophants running the opposition campaign. Just after Jeb Bush announced, Arnie predicted Bush had no chance to win, the same with Scott Walker, and some of the others. And Arnie provided behind the scenes counsel to Trump’s general election campaign against Hillary.

This is a very unusual book because the author uses his personal journey as a way to understand contemporary political history, especially the American conservative movement, and traditional, libertarian and populist divisions. My only complaint is that although Arnie goes after the sellouts in the intelligence community, and he is no fan of the CIA, where I instinctively see conspiracies, Arnie sees mainly bumbling incompetents. Get this book, anyway. (Actually, we’re both right – they are conspiring boobs—see my statement last week before I testified in private before the House Intelligence Committee and that clown Adam Schiff, who Arnie has criticized for Schiff’s sellout on the Iran deal.

Whiplash! is long, with digressions that provide useful context. It’s fascinating and you’ll learn a lot. Read it cover to cover, but don’t loan it to a friend. You may not get it back.

—- Zero correlation between state homicide rate and state gun laws —–
(…….This attack on the country concert goers were your classic Trump voter that loves America and the Deep State picked them to die and was aimed at Trump and at destabilizing his Presidency as well to disarm gun owners and trying to create shock factor (like in 9/11) by filling the room with 23+ guns to then sell the message to the population via the establishment media in a hope to remove their guns via legislation! ……)

There’s been much talk recently — including from President Obama — about there being a substantial correlation between state-level gun death rates and state gun laws. Now correlation obviously doesn’t equal causation; there may be lots of other factors that are the true causes of both of the things that are being measured. But if we do look for now at correlation, it seems to me that the key question should focus on state total homicide rates, or perhaps (for reasons I describe below) total intentional homicide plus accidental gun death rates. And it turns out that there is essentially zero correlation between these numbers and state gun laws.

To begin with, here’s why I focus on total homicide, rather than gun homicide or all gun deaths. First, few people care much about whether they are stabbed to death or shot to death. And even if gun restrictions do decrease gun homicides, that effect may well be offset (or more than offset) by an increase in other homicides:

Some killers would kill with knives or other weapons instead of guns.
To the extent that today some attempted killings are stopped by defenders who have guns, those attempts might succeed if the guns become harder enough for defenders to get.
To the extent that today some potential killings (or attempted robberies, rapes, or burglaries that lead to killings) are deterred by attackers’ fear of running into a gun, it might be that fewer will be deterred if guns become harder enough for defenders to get.
If — put together — these effects mean that tighter gun laws will mean 100 fewer gun homicides in a state but 100 more homicides with knives or other weapons, the net result would hardly be a gun law success.
    ____________
“……….The correlation between the homicide rate and Brady score in all 51 jurisdictions is +.032 (on a scale of -1 to +1), which means that states with more gun restrictions on average have very slightly higher homicide rates, though the tendency is so small as to be essentially zero. (If you omit the fatal gun accident rates, then the correlation would be +.065, which would make the more gun-restricting states look slightly worse; but again, the correlation would be small enough to be essentially zero, given all the other possible sources of variation.) If we use the National Journal data (adding the columns for each state, counting 1 for each dark blue, which refers to broad restrictions, 0.5 for each light blue, which refers to medium restrictions, and 0 for each grey, which refers to no or light restrictions), the results are similar: +0.017 or +0.051 if one omits the fatal gun accident rates. You can also run the correlation yourself on my Excel spreadsheet. http://www.law.ucla.edu/volokh/stategundata.xlsx

The Deep State uses Trump’s non-politically correct expressions or down to earth talk to attack him…while Obama was politically correct but started 6 or 7 wars in Muslim majority countries and exported overseas all of the US jobs with the so called “free trade” TTIP etc which have been signed behind close doors and taken years to agree on ! They call this “less red tape” compared to the current trade laws, not to mention that a multinational can now sue the Govt of the country they export to costing millions to the local population.
If it was free trade why it takes so long to remove these taxes and why they selling it as if it’s going to benefit the little corner butcher store when he doesn’t export or import meat ? He sells it !
You may get a few extra jobs in that multinational production line but you will loose many others small operators jobs in the same industry that don’t or can’t export via TTIP! This way they will close shop and you will loose your job and if you loose your job you can’t buy their meat or goods and you’ll end-up getting social security money to survive on and end-up costing taxpayers money..in short TTIP will cost money instead of making money for the country.
And how stupid is it to have a multinational export their meat to another TTIP country they have an agreement with and that country export their meat to the US ?
Why don’t they sell to their own local market saving on transport costs and on pollution because the cargo ship and trucks pollute to take your stake around the world ?
This is only a get rich quick program for the Globalist multinational companies !

So Michelle says that the US problem is white people running the country and white supremacist .
How did she work this out?
Could it be because these white people were more qualified than black people and got the job? Does she know this fact or she just shoots words out without facts? Could it be that Christopher Columbus was a white Italian that discovered America and the name America derived from the Italian white explorer Amerigo Vespucci?
Is Africa a black supremacist country because they are all black ?
Is the NFL and the NBA run by black supremacist given that all the teams are made up by 90%+ black players ? What does Michelle say about that ?
Is the US Olympic team formed by black supremacist given that all the athletes are 90%+ black athletes ? What does Michelle say about that ?
Is boxing run by black supremacist given that all the boxers are made up by 90%+ black-boxers ? What does Michelle say about that ?
Is CNN a white supremacist organization given that Anderson Cooper is a white presenter with a “Nazi” haircut like the liberals like to call it?
Looks like she was sent into bat after the establishment’s soldiers like CNN and others failed to create a race war to divide and conquer the US and blame the Trump administration for it.
The establishment is sending the Sergeants and Generals into bat as a desperate last move given that the soldiers they sent like Antifa & CNN failed to create a race war to divide and conquer the US !

How about using helicopters to distribute the aid Trump sent to Puerto Rico ?
Are these people so inept that they can’t workout how to do food drops with army helicopters + nets ?
You put a bunch of people to carry the aid from the container to either smaller boxes and or nets that helicopters will be able to lift and take to where it’s needed !
Puerto Rico is 177 km (110 miles) long X 60 km (36 miles) across so why do we have a logistic problem ?
I think that someone wants this rescue to fail like the Democrats and the Deep State !

Australia will allow the use of drivers licence photos to be stored in a database for the so called anti “terror program” a day after the Las Vegas shooting !
So because of this shooting the Australian Prime Minister Turnbull knee jerks and puts our car licence photos on a terrorist data bank.
Why is my privacy abused like this and why I’m treated like a potential terrorist and why does the Police violate the privacy agreement they have with car truck bike drivers given that we signed a privacy agreement with the police when we get the licence.?
And what about the rest of the community that don’t have a licence , why are they exempt ? Why discriminate only on licence holders ?
How do you determine a terrorist from drivers licences photos?
Big brother is selling our privacy without voting on it in Parliament !
We now are one step closer to dictatorship !

The bump-stock has nothing to do with it, the guy had 23 guns in the room and had machine guns with him…he could have used them instead of a bump-stock, and a semi automatic gun has a short magazine that he had to reload, so the bump-stock will only help you to discharge small rounds compared to a machine-gun and then you have to reload..so how do you kill 60 and injure 500+ with a bump-stock gun ?
You can shoot just as fast with just your finger, then take a brake while reloading.
The video I’ve seen shows long bursts of gun fire which sounds more like machine guns .

If a bump-stock was used to automate shooting why aren’t we hearing long shooting rounds of 100 bullets or more ? And how many rounds are stored in a semi-automatic rifles like A.K-47 or M-16 T-56 ? (some of these guns can be used in full auto mode)
Well they store a maximum of 30 rounds per magazine !
The Rate of fire of these guns is: 600 rounds-per-minute for the M-16 and 700–950 for the A.K-47 but a magazine has only 30 rounds after which you have to reload ?
So why would the shooter need a bump-stock to automate shooting when the maximum he could shoot was 30 bullets at any one time then take out the empty magazine and load a new one which could take between 30 to 40 seconds (if he has them near) before start shooting again ? He could have shot a magazine of 30 rounds without the bump-stock then having a brake while reloading.
The shooter had to have had help to kill 59 and injured 500+ given that he could only discharge 30 bullets in a few seconds then stop and reload!
It sounds to me that the second gun shooting sound was coming from the roof of Mandalay Bay Las Vegas and at one point the two guns were shooting simultaneously .How does one person shoot two guns simultaneously?
Also why would the gunman need two windows broken in two different adjoining rooms to shoot from when both windows had the same view of the crowds below and were only meters apart, unless it was needed for the second shooter to shoot from there ?
Same argument for the echo of the shooting, why would the echo change or disappear altogether if you were shooting from one or the other window when the windows were only meters apart ?
This indicates that one of the guns was shooting from the roof or near the ground of Mandalay Bay Las Vegas !
To kill 59 and injured 500+ the shooter/s had to discharge about 20 magazines of 30 rounds in a few minutes before the crowd started running away from him/them…. (600 people divided 30 rounds=20 magazines).

In this video the difference between a semi-auto gun and one with the added bump-stock is of 5 rounds per second vs 7.5 rounds per second, a difference of 2.5 rounds per second more, so hardly any gain on 30 rounds magazines that runs out after 6 seconds shooting in semi-auto … or with the added bump-stock that runs out a 30 rounds magazine in 4 seconds then you have to reload it (not very precise shooting because the rifles bounces from your shoulder compared with shooting without it where you can aim ).

The reason why the Dems + the Globalist + the establishment don’t want Trump to succeed is because they have lied to their own base and others that there was no greener grass outside their cult…and kept them in the dark for years under 8 years of Obama’s administration , in fact the Liberals didn’t have a problem with the US heritage “racist” statues under 8 years of Obama’s administration but as soon as Trump got in they had a problem with history…!
Imagine if the Dem’s base wakes up to the fact that the very party and establishment they supported for years was responsible for their impoverishment and average lifestyles while they were used by them as weaponize fake protesters against Trump like Antifa…exploited by their own political arm !

I cannot understand how the investigators can’t do basic investigation on the Las Vegas shooting !
I have made a drawing of the different trajectory the bullets would take to go trough the victims’ body that you would see during the victims autopsy and you will be able to tell if there were two shooters and their locations !

    Las Vegas,
He could have believed that he was acting alone but there was someone there shooting with him . or he knew that he was going to get help !
Why would the investigator have a problem revealing that there were two shooters if it was an ISIS “attack” ?
I can understand this reluctance if the Authorities were protecting a DeepState or Establishment organized killing…to put the blame on gun laws in order to remove guns,,this explains the purposely released video (shock factor technique to feed the people with ) of the guns in the room some unused bullets, not in their magazine sprinkled around the dead man (sloppy shooter) that was supposedly shooting it out with police or security from his door so protected from police fire,..
11 minutes of fire using a semi automatic rifle and 30 round cartridges would use 132 cartridges or 3960 bullets if you could shoot non stop….but because he needed to reload a new 30 round cartridge every 5 seconds (that’s how long it takes to discharge one ) that could take around 15 seconds (remove the old cartridge and put the new one in and re-aim) he could possibly shoot 33 (30 round) cartridges or 990 bullets in 11 minutes…if his finger was up to it. (you can count the peaks of about 15 to 20 rounds max shot from my audio analysis, which indicates he was using standard 30 round cartridges at that stage of the shooting )
We know that by the video sound of the shooting there were many brakes between shootings rounds so this reduces the possible 990 rounds he could have shot if he did it continuously…..so who help him shoot all these people?
Also the crowd started running away from the shooter as soon as they realized .(about 2 or 3 minutes into the shooting )..so he had to have had some help to shoot them all before the crowd was out of range…and given that he could shoot a maximum of 990 rounds if he shot non stop for 11 minutes… and if his finger was up to it for 11 minutes and the crowd didn’t run away for 11 minutes how did he manage to kill 58 people and injured 600 in those few short minutes before they started running away when it takes the shooter a full 11 minutes to shoot 990 bullets ?
So how did he kill 58 people and injured 600 more on his own having shot about 900 bullets and were these bullets all on target ?
If it was ISIS then this makes Trump’s travel ban even more justified …egg on the face of the Dems judge that first blocked it and the Dems that politicized it and weaponized it against Trump.
